BIOGRAPHY

Born in Bogota, Colombia, soprano Michelle Suarez has been a student in the voice studio of Carla DelVillaggio at Valencia Community College for the past two years. Miss Suarez has performed with several choirs around Central Florida, including Valencia Singers, Voices of Valencia and Disney's Candlelight choir. Miss Suarez is an active member of the Messiah choral society, and has performed several solo works with St. James Cathedral Choir. Miss Suarez is very actively involved with Valencia's Opera-Theater Workshop, under Ms. DelVillaggio's direction where she has performed leading roles in scenes from The New Moon, Kismet, and I Capuleti ed I Montecchi, to name only a few. Miss Suarez plans to finish an interdisciplinary defree in German and Religion at UCF, and later on plans to complete her music education at Stetson University.
